Does Dr. Kellman accept insurance?

Dr. Kellman is strictly out of network with all insurance carriers. If your plan has out-of-network benefits, our office can provide a completed medical claim for you to submit to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement, when applicable. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan.

Can I submit a claim for reimbursement?

Yes. If you have out-of-network benefits, our office will provide a completed medical claim for you to submit to your insurer. Your insurer determines eligibility, reimbursement amounts, deductibles, and any other patient responsibility.

Will insurance cover blood testing?

Extensive blood work is typically covered by insurance, but coverage is not guaranteed and varies by insurance plan, laboratory, medical necessity, and tests ordered. Examples may include advanced cardiovascular markers (such as HDL and LDL cholesterol, lipoprotein(a), and CRP), vitamin and mineral profiles, immune profiles, and other biomarkers. Please confirm coverage with your insurer and the performing laboratory.

Are there additional costs for specialized testing?

Some specialized tests may involve additional charges, including stool or microbiome testing, breath tests, food allergy testing, and urine tests. Depending on the test, payment may be made directly to the laboratory or to our office. Our team can help explain anticipated charges before testing is arranged.

What are the consultation fees?

The initial consultation is $575 and a follow-up visit is $475. If you have questions about the visit or testing costs, please contact our office before booking.
